How Rocket Paper, LLC uses information on this website, why we use it and the choices available to you.

Privacy enquiries: software@rocket-paper.com.

Who this policy covers

Rocket Paper, LLC is a Delaware limited liability company responsible for the personal information described here. This policy covers visitors to our website and people who contact us about our services.

If we handle information on behalf of a client as part of a project, the agreement for that project sets out the relevant responsibilities and instructions.

Information we handle

Information you provide
When you contact us, this can include your name, email address, message and any other personal information you choose to share in the conversation.
Website requests
Delivering a website involves technical information such as your IP address, browser information and the pages your browser requests. This information may also be used to investigate errors or misuse.
An unfinished message
While you move around our website, your unfinished form can remain in the page’s memory. It is not saved in cookies or local storage, and is cleared when you reload or close the page.

Please leave passwords, payment details and sensitive personal information out of an initial enquiry.

Why we use information

Where data-protection law requires a lawful basis, we use the following grounds:

  • Business enquiries: our legitimate interest in answering requests, discussing potential projects and keeping track of the conversation.
  • Website operation and security: our legitimate interest in delivering a reliable website, diagnosing problems and preventing misuse.
  • Optional analytics: your consent, which you can decline or withdraw.
  • Legal requirements and claims: applicable legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.

Cookies and your choices

  • Language preference: a cookie remembers your chosen language for up to 365 days.
  • Analytics preference: local storage remembers whether you accepted or declined optional analytics for 180 days. These settings do not contain your form message.

When enabled, optional analytics is loaded through Google Tag Manager only after you accept analytics. It helps us understand how the website is used.

You can change your decision using “Privacy settings” in the footer. Declining analytics does not prevent you from using the website. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics activity; it does not automatically delete information already held by an analytics provider.

Who may receive information

People working with Rocket Paper may access information when they need it to handle your enquiry or operate the website.

Service providers may process information to supply website hosting, email and enquiry handling, or analytics you have accepted. Their access is limited to the information needed for the service they provide.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it or where disclosure is necessary to protect legal rights.

If you follow a link to another company’s website, its own privacy information applies to your activity there.

How long we keep information

We keep information for the purpose it was collected for. For enquiries, we consider whether the conversation is active, whether follow-up or agreed work is still relevant, and whether a record is needed to meet legal duties or handle a claim.

When information is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete or anonymise it. The language and analytics-preference periods are stated in the cookies section.

International processing

Rocket Paper, LLC is a US company. Information may be accessed or processed in other countries where our team or service providers operate.

Where applicable law requires a mechanism or safeguards for an international transfer, we arrange those protections before the transfer takes place. You can contact us for information about the arrangements that apply to your information.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may be able to:

  • Ask for access to your personal information and correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion, restrictions on use, or a portable copy of information you provided.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent for optional processing.

To make a request, email software@rocket-paper.com. We may ask for information reasonably needed to understand your request or verify your identity. We respond within the time limits required by applicable law.

Where applicable law gives you this right, you can also complain to the relevant data-protection authority, including in the country where you live or work.

Protecting information

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from unauthorised access, alteration and loss. No website or method of transmission can guarantee complete security. If you believe information you shared with us has been misused, please contact us.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our website or information practices change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we provide it before the relevant change takes effect.
